William D. Dickerson

Vice President of Exploration

William (Danny) Dickerson has served as Vice President of Exploration for Silver Creek Oil & Gas since July 2013. Prior to joining Silver Creek, Mr. Dickerson served in a variety of leadership capacities within the Mid-Continent Region for Encana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc. from 2004 through 2013; culminating in his service as Asset Manager. Mr. Dickerson led a variety of asset teams, including exploration, unconventional gas, and unconventional liquids growth projects. During his tenure, he aided Encana’s entry into six large scale plays that helped increase production in the Mid-Continent from approximately 75 MMcfd to over 1,000 MMcfd.

Prior to Encana, Mr. Dickerson served at Tom Brown, Inc. as the New Opportunities Geoscientist, which included contributing as a member of the Acquisition and Divestitures Group. He also served as a geologist for Matador Petroleum, Oryx Energy, and as a consulting geologist for Phillips Petroleum. He has executed projects in a wide range of areas including East Texas, North Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Texas, Gulf of Mexico, Michigan, Kansas, Mississippi, and Indonesia.

Mr. Dickerson is a Licensed Professional Geologist in the State of Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Duke University, and his Master of Science in Geology from Louisiana State University.
