John Schmitz

John Schmitz is a Senior Advisor at Crestview and Chairman and CEO of Select Energy Services and Synergy Energy Holdings. Mr. Schmitz is a lifelong entrepreneur and has founded and developed numerous successful businesses in the oil and gas industry. He founded Peak Oilfield Services in 2007, which later transformed into Select Energy Services under his leadership. Mr. Schmitz also founded HEP Oil Company in 1995 and purchased and developed the assets of Alta Natural Resources in 2010. In 2012, Crestview partnered with Mr. Schmitz to combine these two exploration & development companies to create Silver Creek Resources. Mr. Schmitz also founded Allied Technology in 2005 and sold that business to Forum Energy Technologies, a leading global manufacturer of oilfield products and related after-market technical services that went public in 2012. Mr. Schmitz currently serves as a Board member at Forum. Prior to his involvement with Select Energy Services, Silver Creek Resources and Forum Energy Technologies, Mr. Schmitz served as the North Texas Division Manager for Complete Production Services, a leading oilfield service provider that was subsequently sold to Superior Energy Services in 2012. Mr. Schmitz previously founded BSI Holdings, an integrated wellsite services provider, and Cimmaron Gathering, a midstream company focused on natural gas and crude oil gathering. Mr. Schmitz sold BSI to Complete Production Services in 2003 and Cimmarron Gathering to Copano Energy in 2007.

Steve Schmitz

Mr. Schmitz has served as the Vice President of B 29 Investments since he and his brother John Schmitz originally founded the Texas limited partnership. Currently, Mr. Schmitz’s primary focus is to manage the real estate development companies, the brokerage and property management teams, and the property tax and appraisal functions under the B 29 umbrella. He is currently a Senior Executive of Mesa Real Estate Partners, LP, a private equity fund targeting yard and office infrastructure in the emerging shale plays throughout the contiguous United States. Mr Schmitz also serves on the Investment Committee of Mesa. Mr. Schmitz also plays a large advisory role to Mages Group, LLC, a general contractor and development services firm that focuses on industrial and commercial projects in the emerging shale plays. Mr. Schmitz has previously served on the Board of Directors of SES Holdings, LLC (a rapidly-growing, privately-held oilfield service company focused on the emerging shale plays in the contiguous United States) and Allied Production Services, Inc. (a manufacturer of surface tank equipment for oil and natural gas producers that is now a subsidiary of Forum Energy Technologies, Inc). Mr. Schmitz holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Political Science.

Bob Delaney

Crestview Partners

Mr. Delaney joined Crestview in 2007. Prior to joining Crestview, Mr. Delaney was a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he served in a variety of leadership positions including head of the Principal Investment Area in Asia, head of the Principal Investment Area in Japan, head of the global leveraged finance group and head of the workout, advisory and restructing business. Mr. Delaney also served as a member of the investment committee that oversaw Goldman’s corporate private equity investment funds. He is a director of Samson Investment Company, Select Energy Services, Silver Creek Resources, Symbion and Synergy Energy Holdings. Mr. Delaney received an MBA with high distinction from the Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. He received an M.S. in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business where he graduated first in his class and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. He received a B.A. in Economics from Hamilton College, summa cum laude, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Delaney is a trustee of Hamilton College.

Adam Klein

Crestview Partners

Mr. Klein joined Crestview in 2007. Prior to Crestview, Mr. Klein worked as an investment professional at Centennial Ventures, where he invested in early- to mid-stage companies across multiple industries. Before Centennial Ventures, Mr. Klein worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Compass Partners, advising corporations and private equity firms on a wide range of transactions. Previously, Mr. Klein worked as an analyst in the Media & Telecom group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and then Credit Suisse. Mr. Klein is on the board of FBR & Co (NASDAQ: FBRC), Select Energy Holdings, Silver Creek Resources and Synergy Energy Holdings. He is also a board observer at Samson Resources. Mr. Klein received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College, cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

John Sanchez

President and CEO – Silver Creek Oil & Gas

John Sanchez has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Silver Creek Oil & Gas since its inception in October 2010. Prior to founding Silver Creek, Mr. Sanchez was the President and CEO of Cornerstone E&P Company, LP, a private oil and gas company funded primarily by State Farm Insurance Company, Wellington, and Blackrock Investments; for the purpose of capturing and drilling unconventional gas resources.

Prior to Cornerstone, Mr. Sanchez was Vice-President of the Mid Continent Division for Encana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc., which added over 200 MMcfed of net production, combined with almost 1 Tcfe of net reserves in 3 years, achieved through a combination of production acquisitions and grass-roots drilling in unconventional resource formations.

Before joining Encana, he was Vice-President of the Dallas Division of Tom Brown, Inc., and Vice-President of Acquisitions and Engineering for Bill Barrett Corporation.  Mr. Sanchez currently serves on the Board of Directors for CP Energy, LLC.  Mr. Sanchez received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
